Fe3GeTe2 is an Ising-type ferromagnet with Curie temperature (TC) of 200–220K in bulk. Its magnetic properties such as Curie temperature and coercivity depend on the thickness. Since it is easily oxidized in the air, it is shipped in an inert gas filled vial and needs to be kept in an inert or vacuum environment once the vial is opened.
